My name is Mark Sauer and I’m the founder of AllOneWealth, a Conscious Investing wealth management firm which melds the worlds of capitalism and social responsibility.
My background in finance, blockchain, technology, and impact investing has resulted in my advisory of several impact-oriented enterprises where I help to align founder’s visions with profitable business practices. As well as thoughtfully guiding individuals, families and institutions when investing for retirement, legacy, and capital expansion.
My journey started 12 years ago when I first got into finance and saw the misalignment of investors beliefs and their asset allocation. I stumbled around searching for a strategy and philosophy that I could adopt for my own investing and that of my clients. As well as one that engendered competitive return-on-investment. The methodologies I found often performed poorly, and seemed more like a version of ‘virtue signaling’ than an attempt to make any kind of meaning impact.
12 years later and I’ve developed my own strategy which I call “Conscious Investing”. Through its evolution I began to realize how investing can be a vehicle for advancing society – voting with your shareholder dollars – when we, as investors, recognize the powerful connection between company strategy, social purpose, and economic value. I’ve found that companies who operate more mindfully, and aren’t just ‘green washing’ or ‘virtue-signaling,’ outperform their peers. They encounter fewer regulatory issues – environmentally, socially, and in their corporate governance. They have a happier and more productive work force who are therefore more inspired to come up with innovative ideas. All of this, ultimately, translates to a better bottom line – they make more money, and therefore, created more economic value for their investors.
In 2019 I launched AllOneWealth with the mission of outperform traditional investing benchmarks through investing in the responsible, innovative & mission driven companies of tomorrow. Seeking to be a vehicle for change – to be the means of transferring money and energy from that which extracts value from our world, to that which creates value and contributes. All while adding intrinsic value for our clients by maximizing returns and minimizing risk through mindful money management.
